BUKOWSKI: On Plagiarism

15 May

Bukowski knows that what he writes is his.

Only he has the right to decide what to do with it.

Sometimes he wishes to tear it up, burn it or publish it; only he has the right to do it.

Sometimes he hides them like he hides his bluebird.

Sometimes he puts them out there to see what will happen.

Sometimes he just wishes to shock people.

But it is his decision – – – and his alone

Sometimes I do the same.
