BUKOWSKI: On love

16 May

Bukowski seems only to think about love when death is near.

Nat Cole seems to think about love when a stranger speaks.

Does love only strike you at certain times?

Or is it with you constantly?

Or is it part of life?

Or is it part of lust?

Or is it part of commitment?

Where does your love live?

Mine lives HERE.

Love only strikes me in moments of weakness. It always blindsides me.

Me also, but it is so glorious that I can not speak against the weak moments, minutes, hours, days, years.
